The place

Attica’s eastern plain, known as “Mesogaia”, has been a major agricultural area since classical times. Situated in a 19th century building of this greater Athens’ area, Fragou Estate was the house of our ancestors, long time wine and olive oil artisans. The building comprises of the main living areas, the old winery, the cellar and an impressive storeroom, where nowadays tastings and cooking demonstrations take place. Rooms with stone walls, high ceilings and antique furniture transfer the visitor to an era long gone. The indoor capacity is 80 seated guests and the outdoor 120 guests.

Fragou Estate hosts a variety of events like small wedding receptions and christenings, private dinners, corporate events, anniversary parties, reunions, and children’s birthday parties. Guided tours are offered to the visitors during their stay and tastings of the estate’s agricultural products can also be arranged.
